Thanks to Adam and Eva Ilnicki for hosting the Memorial Day picnic again this year! The weather was perfect, there were many DVC members attending with their treasured MGs, and fun and fellowship were enjoyed by all.
With Adam as parking consultant, MGs were moved in and out of spaces with ease to showcase them together in the driveway, although we occasionally heard a few gasps as some MGs almost kissed one another. Just wondering……….. did Adam ever get his photo with MGs and drivers all together!!???!
There were 37 in attendance, with everyone bringing lots of side dishes and desserts to share. It was quite a feast of delights!! No one went home hungry, that’s for sure!
Adam and Eva were really good sports considering they only recently moved into this house and were undoubtedly in the process of making it their home. Adam was also suffering from a very recent fall from a ladder that resulted in painful cracked ribs and injured wrist. They have lots of work to do and we thank them for taking the time to be host and hostess to their MG friends. Thank you both and good luck in your new home!
In attendance were: Jerry and Lee Keller, Bill and Linda Boorse, Bill and Ann McCurdie, Gloria and Dave Schwab, Tom and Jaimee Rippert, Louise Story, Donna Bristol, Nancy and Warren Doerner, Pat and Patti Cawthorne, Bill and Evelyn Webb, Chuck Denlinger, Evonna and Paul Phillips, Wade Albright and Jill McKeown, Steve Albright and Jen Sauermelch, Pat and Carmita Alzamora, Garth and Susan Gill, Mark and Janet Singer, Pete and Nancy Yaskowski, Kurt and Sally Yost, Rob Ilnicki and Megan.
