We celebrated the first day of summer – no rain, thank you, with the run starting at Limerick Community Park just north of the Limerick Diner. Six MGs showed themselves, plus a Jeep. Two more MGs appeared at the Hunt’s in the afternoon. After gathering chatter and a drivers’ meeting, we were off at 11:30 in 5 minute or so intervals. Dave’s excellent route planning plus four or five confirmation runs seemed to have worked. The run ran smoothly with no one getting hopelessly lost.
We enjoyed a menu of chicken kebobs, hamburgers, turkey burgers, a variety of salads and all sorts of desserts topped with or without ice cream.
